Roadmap and Status

Clear product states without speculative launch promises

OppAction uses four public status labels so merchants can separate current availability from research and product direction. Status changes only after the required product and production evidence is approved.

Current Connector Status

Shopify supports the live catalog workflow

The Shopify catalog connector is Live for the current OppAction workflow: read product data, find listing issues, prioritize work, generate proposed improvements, review changes, and track completion.

Additional connector requirements are in Research. No named additional connector is currently announced as Planned, in public Beta, or Live.

Status Definitions

What each roadmap state means

Every state describes availability, not a launch date. OppAction will publish dates only after they are separately approved.

Research

Research

OppAction is evaluating merchant needs, field requirements, platform rules, and workflow fit. Research is not a release commitment.

Additional connector requirements are being evaluated without announcing a named connector.
Planned

Planned

The scope has been approved for product work, but the capability is not available for customer use.

No named additional connector is currently announced as Planned.
Beta

Beta

The capability is undergoing controlled production validation with limited availability and may still change.

No additional connector is currently listed in public Beta.
Live

Live

The capability is production-ready, verified, and available within the stated product and access limits.

The Shopify catalog connector is Live.
Production Readiness

A connector becomes Live only after verification

Research, approval, and testing must produce a usable workflow before marketing language changes. A connector name, partner conversation, prototype, or internal test does not make it Live.

  • Required catalog fields and platform-specific rules are mapped.
  • Authentication, data handling, and failure paths are production-tested.
  • Generated changes remain reviewable before they are applied.
  • Status, product copy, support guidance, and access controls agree.
Workflow Value

Cross-market value will be shown through the real work

When a second connector is Live, OppAction will show how operators move listing work across supported marketplaces, how fields and recommendations adapt to each marketplace's requirements, where merchant review differs, and how completion is tracked in one workflow.

Connector count alone will not be presented as the benefit. The useful evidence is the adaptation, review control, and operational time saved by the verified workflow. OppAction does not guarantee rankings, traffic, sales, or revenue.
